We are looking forward to meeting our new kindergartners of 2012-13 on Friday! You should be receiving a letter from the school on Wednesday the 15th telling you whether your child is in the morning or afternoon kindergarten session. We are very excited for the upcoming school year!
School begins on
August 20, 2012-- morning session is 8:05 to 11:25 and the afternoon
session is 11:30 to 2:50. Child care for both sessions is available at
Champions (408) 356-3178 or Holy Cross (408) 356-6828.
Kindergarten Orientation is Friday, August 17th, from 10:00 to 10:45 (for a.m. students) and 11:00 to 11:45 (for p.m. students). This is a little meet & greet that helps alleviate any first-day jitters. Please plan on attending with your child.
Supplies
that we usually ask for include glue sticks, cap erasers, tissues, pencils, white
board markers, and baby wipes. Check Back-to-School sales for
these items-- we appreciate it!!
Back-to-School Night is Wednesday, August 29th. This is a night for parents only, so please round up those babysitters. It will be from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. for parents who have students in a.m. kindergarten, followed by a Home & School Club presentation (explaining many of our school's enrichment programs) for both a.m. & p.m. parents at 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. Finally, the p.m. kindergarten parents return to room K2 for their Back-to-School Night presentation.
