I hope you all are enjoying your four-day weekend! This week, since we missed our regular weekly COVID testing day due to the MLK holiday, it has been rescheduled for Wednesday. Per the Superintendent's message, students are ALL strongly encouraged to participate in weekly testing during the Omicron surge. This is the best way to detect COVID within our class, since students are often asymptomatic. There are several new updates to school protocols. Please read over Dr. Andrews' email, if you haven't already.
Math
We are still on the addition component of Module 4: Number Pairs, Addition & Subtraction to 10. Parent tips for this module can be found here. We are going to take a break from Module 4 next week to focus on numbers in the teens. Then, we will return to the subtraction component of the module after we complete the topic on Numbers in the Teens.
**Children should return library books by Tuesday, so they can check out a new book on Wednesday.
**We have P.E. every Monday. Please send your children in shoes & clothes appropriate for fitness (PE will resume next week).
